syl AKA "me love" was born and raised in bavaria, germany, and studied visual communications in germany and the USA.
In 2002 she officially founded her 1-woman-show illustration and design project called "tapetentiere" (translates to "wallpaperanimals"). she is always hungry (not only for visual attractions), collects wallpapers and loves to create characters and little stories surrounding them. therefore she always carries one of her sketchbooks with her, to draw, write and stick anything that interests her into it. Since 2005 she works as a freelance illustrator and designer at buro destruct in bern, switzerland, always looking forward to new challenges!
